Day 21: Friday 20 October 2017, Sydney Australia

Our last early start to the day with the alarm going off  at 3.30am. All went smoothly to leave the hotel with the lovely driver picking us up on schedule  at 4.45am. He giggled his face off at the amount of bags that we had between the four of us and called ahead to say no more room he was taking us straight to the airport. A porter blessedly came and assisted us directly to the front of a very long line and we had our bags checked in before we knew it. All along I was worried about our excess weight in the carry on due to the plethora of coffee mugs that I collected along the way. I needn’t have worried as instead of giving me the third degree, Kellie’s very new mobility scooter (that had been from Sydney to LA to Memphis to Honolulu via Seattle) was questioned about its battery type etc for safety and security reasons. They were lovely and it was of course allowed to be stored in the plane however if nothing else it provides the ...

Day 20: Thursday 19 October 2017, Honolulu

Last full day of our fantastic holiday! We decided to spoil ourselves (lol) with a final Denny’s breakfast before heading off for some shopping. We went to Ala Moana shopping centre to blow the last of our money or so it seems lol jokes..... we waited until after dinner to do that 😂 Had a lovely lunch at the centre and then caught the bus back, finally visited Ross and then decided we had better go and pack our bags to see what room and kgs that we had left (if any). Feeling satisfied Jo and headed back to the shops and I headed back for my well awaited pedicure at the nail place from yesterday. Then we hit the shops again for some last minute items in Macy’s and then met the girls at Denny’s for our last dinner before heading home. Then because we hadn’t shopped enough Jo and I went back one last time lol We fell into bed at 10.30pm ready for our 3.30pm wake up call..... it’s time to get ready to go home to my babies 💗

Day 19: Wednesday 18 October 2017, Honolulu

Kellie’s US birthday!! We awoke at 7am which was 1pm NY time lol oh how easily we acclimatised!! 😂 We have a day of relaxation in front of us today before the luau this afternoon. First thing that came natural was google Denny’s as the $28/person buffet was a little exhorbitant and were delighted to find that it was a 2 minute walk away..... Breakfast was it’s usual exceptionalness and then the girls beaded back to the hotel for a swim and I went and had my nails done. Sooooo happy with them!!! And I have a fabulous reminder of my time in Hawaii 🌴🌺 I met the girls back at the pool where we had a cocktail and snack before we went up to get ready to go to the Luau at Paradise Cove. Such a fantastic afternoon and evening. The food was stunning and the views breathtaking. The Luau itself was excellent. So glad we went. We headed back to the hotel and put our feet up. Big last day tomorrow, hitting the shops!! ...
