Day 17: Monday 16 October 2017, NY

Just before we left for the day we had to confirm with the shuttle company to come and pick us up to leave for Hawaii in the morning. Yep barely will go to bed tonight. They are picking us up at 3.10am lol which means Jo is talking about packing it all in to the last minute and not going to bed. I’m up for anything but it’s lunchtime. See how we feel in 12 hours lol
After a quick brekky at Maccas we were headed for Pier 83 for our cruise. Of course it had to be the coldest, windiest day we’d had so far! For the first time this trip the BJ jacket was brought out but I must admit I still had shorts on..... :)
We boarded the ferry at 11.50am and surprisingly it was colder on the street than the ferry!!! What a fantastic experience!!!!! Omg the Statue of Liberty!!!!! So amazing!!!!!
We ubered to Central Park when we got back into port, had a wander around and took some photos. Saw some squirrels, saw someone fall off a bridge in an attempt to jump down πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ and then we went and had a light meal underneath the Plaza hotel.
We walked to Rockefeller Centre and Kellie and I left Jo and Dawn to go to back to the hotel whilst they went up to the observation deck. Not before we found another Magnolia’s Bakery!!!!!
The girls met us back at the hotel and Jo and I ventured out again for dinner at John’s one last time before racing back to Times Square and then back to the hotel for three hours sleep before it was time to get up and get ready for the last and most relaxing part of our holiday..... Hawaii 🌺🍹
