Day 5: Wednesday 4 October 2017, Last Day Disneyland & DCA

The day started with breakfast with Minnie at the Plaza Inn at 8.30am so we had a very early start. Luckily we didn’t sleep through the alarm!!

We had lots of photos with all the characters and stuffed ourselves on the buffet breakfast. As soon as it was over, I raced over to DCA to get a fast pass for Cars. It was 9.30am and we had to come back between 2.15-3.15 so glad we got it sorted before it got too late.

We decided to go and visit Mickey in his house and by the time we got out the line was too long for Minnie’s so we took a couple of pics for Suzie inside her house and then came back out again. Next on the agenda was the carousel which was lovely because I’ve never been on that before :)

I convinced everyone to go on Pirates of the Caribbean and then as everyone was a little peckish we went and had a sandwich. A little more shopping was done before heading over to DCA for our Cars ride. Unfortunately no time for Soarin’ again as the girls wanted to head back to the room for a swim and relax so I wandered a little longer and picked up a couple more presents. I could barely drag my tired feet back to the room by 7.30pm and collapsed onto my bed.

The girls went for some dinner but as I’d enjoyed a corn dog on the bench beside the Castle earlier I wasn’t hungry so I had a quick nana nap before the girls got back and we packed all of our bags up as we had to move out of our big room in the morning to a smaller room for our last night in LA.
